The first piece in the Meet My Muses collection, '“Lady Flicker” is a portrait of the red- x yellow-shafted female Northern Flicker that frequents my home. Her visits are what piqued my interest in birdwatching in January 2020 and kicked off this beautiful journey. She will always be my favourite visitor and the one I remain most grateful for. It was a joy to immortalize her on canvas.
